I got the Crazy Horse Brown version of yours case and the leather is gorgeous! The leather is smooth, the color is beautiful and the quality of the case is amazing. I nice sturdy zipper and the sides of the case are structured/stiff. I already have (most) of my pocket pens in it, including my newest pen, the Pencket also offered by this shop. Like my last order, they also provide a bunch of goodies with your purchase. (See photo.)

I ordered this pen specifically so I could try a "non-standard" nib (medium italic). This pen is the same format and size as the Esterbrook Niblet, but cost significantly less, even with the italic nib.
I have a recent fascination with pocket pens so couldn't resist it. And with this being my first italic nib, I now want to try other nibs, so another purchase may be coming in the future. ; )
The color of this pen is a dark amber with a nice swirl to the resin and its chatoyance. It's a gorgeous pen and the medium italic nib writes beautifully. So smooth!
My order shipped very quickly (I didn't have any personalization done on this order), and arrived well-packaged and in good condition, and came with some extra goodies.

Years ago I bought a similar bag, at a similar price, from a large company. This bag from a small, family-owned business is SO much better. The inside is smooth and doesn’t shed. The (detachable) pockets inside hold my phone near the top. The magnet closure is a welcome bonus, and the handle straps are secure. I love it. The photo is one month in, and I can’t wait to see how it ages.

Was a tadge disappointed by the size, but it is well made and will meet some peoples needs who are minimalist. Not a lot of room, and the card holder bit is a bit of a waste really. Would be better if it was larger with a zipper wallet inside. Kaweco does fit the pen holder on the edge. Good well made wallet if not entirely practical for everyday use. Would be better a cm either way bigger with a zipper wallet inside or on the outside.
Another great Galen case which meets your demands if you get addicted to collecting pens. Plenty of room, nice large easy to manage zip and a worthwhile investment to protect your precious pens. Works well.

My Kilk Celestial in golden abalone arrived yesterday (sooner than I expected). It's simply gorgeous! The resin has lovely chatoyancy and depth. There's a hint of rose in the mix and subtle golden shimmer that's enhanced by the antique brass clip and trim. It looks so much better in person than it does in photos, because turning the pen reveals the shimmer and iridescence. This is a pen that's meant to be in motion. But it's not flashy; it's classy.
On top of that, I got an italic medium nib that makes my regular handwriting look so fancy!
I think I've found my favorite pen ever!

Wow...wow...WOW!!!
I ordered the "Italic Broad" with low expectations and I'm happy to say I'm completely blown out of the water with how AWESOME this nib is!! It is SMOOTH...doesn't grab the paper AT ALL, and it is JUICY!! Most italic nibs that I've tried have been drier than bones in the Mohave desert and always require modifications after purchase.
This is the FIRST Italic nib that I have ever owned that is good to go right out of the box!!
I will DEFINITELY be back to buy more and in different sizes!!

I have a few other Galen items which I love, so I took a chance on the Walnut version of this box. I can’t believe how wonderful it is.
I have shown it with some well known pens and journals for scale.
So pleased.
This is in no way what I wanted. I contacted Galen and they asked for photos so I sent them to them. It’s been two weeks and they have ghosted me. No contact what so ever.
The cover is super shiny like it’s been covered in something. It’s way to big for a b6 slim notebook
As an overwriter leftie, it took me a while to get a hang of writing with the pen.
There’s a noticeable feedback, too, probably because of the angle at which I hold the pen.
I also found it a bit lightweight for my liking.
And I’m not a fan of the rather cheap-looking acrylic resin body. It takes quite an effort to remove the ink stains on it.
I got the passport size TN in purple and I paired it with teal coloured elastic.
The colour combination is gorgeous.
It is well-made and I am happy with my purchase!
This Cover is absolutely gorgeous. I love the natural color and I know this will patina beautifully. The stitching is so on point. This was definately handmade with love and care. The inside and back pockets are exceptional and hold all my slips of paper and stickers. There is even a card slot that I can put a clip on. This was made with so much thought. I appreciate the workmanship immensely. Thank you. I do look forward to new items. As I love my Pen Carrry case in the same Natural color. They are the first items I see when I sit at my desk to write. Thank you!

Exactly what I was looking for. Fits my Statology A5 notebook and pen like a glove. I strongly recommend using leather conditioner such as Bick 4.
I purchased this product in a different color a year ago and love it. This one is disappointing. The leather has multiple lines in it that affect both the appearance and the feel of the leather. I understand this can be normal in leather, but this piece shouldn’t have been used in a first quality product. I’m disappointed.

I have several Galen products and every one has the same craftsmanship and attention to detail. The natural leathers look and feel so perfect. I color coordinate my cases and my wife’s so we can keep them separate and know which case we are grabbing without opening them up all the time. The colors we have show no signs of fading or variation that the dye is not perfect. I would recommend them for protection and longevity. We throw them in bags and do not worry about damaging our pens. The slots are large enough for even a Pilot Urushi. The tab to pull out the tray is very handy when you are trying to get a smaller pen out.
