The Ulpia Fountain Pens Journey
Ulpia is a charming artisanal pen company nestled in the heart of Spain.
We first met Raúl, the visionary founder of Ulpia, at the Madrid Pen Show in 2021, where their innovative “Párix” filling system captured our attention. This system, a cleverly designed refillable cartridge, harkens back to the first cartridge-fillers of the late 19th century, which were filled using glass or metal cartridges.
Three years after that memorable encounter, we are thrilled to offer these exquisite fountain pens at Galen. Models like the 117 and Párix feature a unique design where the pen body and section are crafted from a single piece, enhancing both aesthetics and durability.
Crafted from high-quality German Ebonite with options for steel or gold nibs, these pens are not only beautiful but built to last. The practical design allows the cartridge to be easily refilled with an eyedropper, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern functionality.
