They are known for their affordable demonstrator fountain pens.TWSBI stands for 'Hall of Three Cultures' or 'San Wen Tong' in Chinese, and their logo represents the philosophy of balance and harmony that the brand embodies. Most fountain pens in their lines have piston-filling system. Except VAC 700 and VAC VAC 700r models.

VAC 700R IRIS
The VAC 700R IRIS is a special edition of the VAC 700R model. It features an iridescent coating on the trim and nib, giving it an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The company first released the VAC 700 then improved VAC 700R. Below you can see the different colors of the VAC 700 released in the past.
Body
This pen has a transparent body made of high-quality polished resine, allowing you to see the ink level and the internal filling mechanism in action. The body is durable, yet light, making it comfortable for long writing sessions. On social media you can see some body break issues. Based on our firsthand experience, we havent had any broke problems. Even the first model that we have for 7 years.
Nib
The VAC 700R IRIS comes with a #6 JoWo nib, #6 nib makes this pen our favorite in TWSBI line. (ECO and 580 models have number #5 nib).The stainless steel nib that glides smoothly on paper, offering a consistent ink flow. The nib is iridescent, matching the trim for a cohesive look. Nib unit is screw-on, so easily can be swapped with replacement nibs or any JoWo # nib.
Cap
The cap of this pen is screw-on with an inner cap to prevent the nib from drying out. It features an iridescent clip that complements the overall design of the pen.
Filling System
One of the key features of this pen is its vacuum filling system, like Pilot 823. We know this is a love-hate filling system. The vacuum filling allows for a larger ink capacity and a fun, unique way to refill the pen. If you haven't used any vacuum filler pen, you have to do some practice first.
