The Leather Wrap has an old school look and feel with updated craftsmanship. This is a great cover for any of my A5 size journals and it has a great feel and very easy to close and wrap up with the leather straps. It’s look and feel is comfortable and that of a classic style and classy style. I have this and another Galen A5 cover and I have not been disappointed. The staff are great to work with although I have not had any complaints.

My preference is for the more simplistic journal covers, so I was torn between this and the slim journal cover which doesn’t wrap. In the end, I’m very happy I went with this one. It feels like a hidden gem—why it isn’t more prominently featured on the website, is beyond me.
I love the strap and how easily you can customize its length if you need a tighter wrap. If you need to open and close your journal very frequently, I can imagine the strap might not be for you, but for me it adds to the ritual aspect of journaling. Also, if the strap should break sometime, it’s going to be a lot easier to repair/replace than a zipper would be.
The pen loop is a tiny tad too tight for my taste, but that’s a small gripe for an otherwise beautiful and well-made product.
I was hoping this would be able to fit more than one notebook, like with a traveler's binder, but it is definitely a one-notebook deal. less "practical" than the zippered cover as it has only one pen loop, but on the positive side: no zipper to scratch as you write and both sides of the page rest on flat areas, so it is actually the more comfortable option for me. This works very well with thick and thin books, and it is my EDC.

Bought one for myself as I like the traditional style and use it for events, notes, photographic notes, doodles, sketches, etc. It goes with me wherever and however (saddlebag, motorcycle, flying, hunting, etc.). My sister saw it and complimented it so I bought one for her as a gift as well. I would only add that it should be given more prominence on the website. It is difficult to find but a great product.
I bought this to carry my A5 notebook around, like all products I have bought from Galen it is extremely well made and works a treat with the slim A5 notebooks I have tried. The strap is a fun and novel way to secure the case. I definitely recommend getting one.
I bought the wrap cover to protect and make carrying a midori notebook easier. It is made to a very high quality as all Galen products are; it is wonderfully tactile and does the job brilliantly.
Most of the items are handmade to order and usually take a minimum of 1-2 weeks to dispatch. Out of stock items mean, not in the production cycle and generally re-stocking in a few weeks. Shipping
We ship worldwide. All items are sent via our shipping partners UPS/Fedex. Your items may need to be signed for upon receipt.
Due to security reasons, we cannot ship to PO boxes.
Some items are ready for shipment in our workshop, located in Istanbul. In stock items dispatch within 6-7 working days after payment has cleared using our shipping partners, UPS & FedEx. If the item is not in stock, then we will need to make your order.
Deliveries to USA addresses will take 3-4 days. For the UK and Europe, 2-3 days. To Australia, 6-7 days. For the rest of the world, expect a maximum of 7 working days. Plus production times.
- Buyers are responsible for customs duties. There are no additional taxes for goods being delivered to the USA.
- European Union : New rules after 1 July 2021; we charged VAT for orders up to 150€. It means no hidden or extra customs fees during the delivery. Orders more than 150€ subject to customs same as before.
- UK : Orders are subject to VAT. Around %20 percent. + courier fees.

Returns - Cancellations
- Items (except personalized items) can be returned for a full refund within 7 days of receipt. Buyer is responsible for the Shipping costs. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have before placing an order.
- Due to all items are made to order, after receiving your order, we immideatly start to make your items. We don't accept cancellations/changes after orders placed.
