Galen Leather cases are actually probably worth more to be honest! However, I very much appreciate that their prices have remained consistent! Its one of the major reasons I decided to buy a second case for my iPhone 11 Pro just now. So, I've had this case for the iPhone X for about 13 months and it has held up beautifully! The quality of the leather is fantastic and it developed a really attractive patina during that time. I do tend to take pretty good care of my phones in general but I've definitely had some pretty nasty drops over the last year—including glass face down on the concrete AND YET... this case has saved my phone every time. I traded in my iPhone X today in order to upgrade to the 11 Pro and I was able to get the full return value because it had no scratches, cracks, or malfunctions.
My conclusion, this case is not only attractive, practical (the card slots don't stretch out terribly over time), and durable, but it also is very effective in protecting your phone. I'm revisiting Galen Leather today to order a new case for my 11 Pro and figured I'd drop this review in there also. So long as Galen maintains this style and quality at their current price point, there's no way I'll be considering any of the other major brands such as the much pricier cases from Nomad Goods, etc.
The one thing I'll say I'd like to see different...and this isn't a "complaint" exactly...is that I think it would be really nice if the Galen Leather Co. logo were stamped into case somewhere such as a small one in the bottom right where the monogramming might usually go. Nothing big, so that the case maintains the minimalist look. But the Galen logo is a really cool old fashioned style and I think it would be a great addition to the case. The AirPods cases have the logo stamped on the backs on them and they look great so maybe something like that could be incorporated into the iPhone cases as well?
