Description

A night in Jodhpur is a blue ink with a light petrol content made by Diamine special for Dutch stationery store, Papier Stift.
You know this ink from the postcards that come with your orders. We usually write with this ink on the back of postcards. So it's a color we use a lot. When many of our customers asked about this ink, we reached Papier Stift and started stocking up a small amount. That's why the price is a little high. Thank you Papier Stift for this opportunity and beautiful color.
In addition, Papier Stift asked the Diamine ink specialists that their two favorite ink properties were included: beautiful shading and not too much sheen. The result is a blue ink that is absolutely suitable for everyday use, but which always looks special.

Diamine Inks

Diamine has been making ink since 1864 and is one of the last remaining manufacturers in the UK. Throughout, the Diamine trademark and the traditional production methods have survived and now in the 21st century, their fountain pen ink remains the first choice of many pen connoisseurs.

They have some interesting ink facts. Monaco Red color was specially formulated for his Serene Highness Prince Rainier III of Monaco and the Grimaldi family in conjunction with a presentation of a limited edition fountain pen. Royal Blue ink was used on April 2010 by Presidents Obama/Medvedev in the signing of the nuclear arms treaty at Prague Castel.

Diamine is stepping up they're game!

Over the last year I have been trying to find the perfect sheening ink in every color. I had no idea diamine made so many as most in the US are shimmer as well... We get a few good ones though but after I got the "rock song" series as I call them I wanted to see more!

This is a very beautiful almost royal blue. It is a slightly lighter shade then Akkerman's shocking blue with about 65 precent more beautiful red sheen on Tomoe River and Cosmo Air Light paper I would say. If that's what you're looking for than this is it. Looks exactly like it's pictured

Gorgeous ink!

I had seen this in various feeds I follow but had given up hope of being able to buy it until I discovered it at Galen. I love that they go the extra mile to stock exactly the things on my wishlist.

Amazing ink!!

I just received my bottle today and already have it loaded in my two favorite pens. It has become a favorite ink after just a few hours of journaling. I love the different colors that show up depending on how the light hits.

This flows well. One of my pens is prone to dry starts and with this ink it has not had any issues - even after I inadvertently left the cap off for a few minutes.

Going to be ordering another bottle or two soon.
