I usually dont write reviews, but thought i’d share my thoughts on this cover!
Firstly, I am IN LOVE with the natural leather. The piece I have shows a lot of character. I was a little hesitant because I didnt know if it would fit a 520 page TRP planner. But it does fit beautifully as seen in the pictures :) Sterling Ink / Papertess B6 works! The colour looks a little more like a salmon pink in real life
Very well made. I already own 3. I keep EDC gear in them. Pen, flashlight and Leatherman multitool. Perfect size.
I procrastinated on this colour as I’d usually go with browns but decided to go with ocean blue and wow I’m not disappointed at all, this colour is amazing. I LOVE it.
This was my first order from Galen Leather, and I will definitely be ordering from here again! I had been searching for a replacement cover for my planner system for ages and I'd heard great things about Galen, so I decided to get the Crazy Horse Forest Green TN cover. In person, it is even more beautiful than I expected it to be. It is a tad narrower than the cover I was using previously, but it still easily fits three notebook inserts and a pretty bulky pouch. It is so smooth to the touch and the color is so deep and varied. I feel like this is exactly what I've been searching for in a cover ever since I started my traveler's notebook journey five years ago. From the beautiful packaging to the leather itself, this feels like the premium product that it is. I will definitely be adding more of these to my collection.

No regrets after my purchase of Galen Leather’s Leuchtturm 1917 A5 Notebook Cover. Works great with my Moleskine notebook that I use to keep sermon notes in every Sunday. I’m loving the fine workmanship of this cover.

El envío fue más rápido de lo que esperaba (6 días desde pedido a entrega), y llegó muy bien protegido, en cajas de cartón extraordinariamente duras. Añadieron una funda de piel para una pluma de regalo, lo cual se agradece extra. La posibilidad de añadir nuevas bandejas lo hace una solución de almacenaje muy flexible. En resumen: una de mis mejores compras del año.
Absolutely gorgeous. The colour was navy, as I hoped, and the leather feels soft to the touch. Service extremely good, especially Customer Service, who sorted a problem out for me immediately.
Two unique pieces of incredible craftwork, beautiful color and high quality. Just perfect for my TWSBIs, including the larger TWSBI Kai. Even more surprised when I realized they have sent me a pencil case (blue) and a leather single case (brown) for free. Moreover, the history of the company is absolutely motivating and inspiring. I had seen this wallet before and thought it was nice, but there wasn't a color I liked. When I found the new color, I was excited and purchased it right away. It's exactly the color I was looking for. And although this wallet is minimal, very functional, with compartments for not only cards, but also coins and bills. I'm really glad I bought it.
The purple colour is so pretty and it holds my a6 book and 5 pens.

Absolutely love this folio. The crazy horse brown looks amazing. B6 is a great portable size and never feels too big to carry around. I bought this to go with the B6 leather cover notebook and I think they are perfectly matched (maybe a bit of over-kill with leather but..oh well, I love it!). Everything about this screams quality and feels strong, from the stitching to the zipper. So happy I made this purchase!
Very easy to apply. Used on crazy horse brown. Did darken and has remained dark 24 hours later. Looks great though.

After eyeing GL's products for over a year, I finally pulled the trigger after seeing this new color. Shipping was fast and the package made it to me the day after fountain pen day (yay!). The color is a stunner in person, leaning more blue than teal. It looks darker in my picture cause I just conditioned all three pieces (thank you GL for the gifted pen sleeve :')))!!!!). Can't wait to watch the leather slowly age with more love in the years to come!
I received my Old School pen case with all the extra treats and goodies and super packaging. I love the case and have been using it every day. However, there is one minor defect and that is the metal clasp attachment to the leather. The notched cut-out in the leather was not big enough, so the clasp does not perfectly sandwich over the leather flap. If I pull too hard, I'm afraid it will detach. I'm not sure how to remedy this since I don't have leather cutting tools, but it seems like if I had, it would be a minor fix. Otherwise, I love the leather, the look of the stitching and the sturdiness of the molded leather.
Wow! Just wow! Such beautiful craftsmanship 🤩 I absolutely adore my new journal cover, although advertised for an A5 journal, I keep this journal me for my weeks journal, it is perfect. Storage for selection of my fountain pens included was simply a must have and this zippered cover has it all. 100% recommend this for either your weekly or A5 … 5⭐️
Every time you open a Galen Leather package it feels like you are receiving a gift. Upon opening the box I was greeted by a warm leather smell (I have the Crazy Horse Brown). The smell built up expectations for the actual feel of the leather and upon laying my hands on its cover it felt simply perfect, very luxurious!
The zipper is rugged and feels of high quality. So are the pen retainers loop that easily accommodate my Pelikan M620 and my Omas Arco Milord at each end of the size spectrum.
As for the A5 part it can receive a hard cover Leuchturm1917 A5 notebook as well as anything under and with the leather flap I can actually write on the left page i.e. over my pens. For this to work you need to have your pen holder side mostly filled for obvious reasons!
100% satisfied with my purchase and considering getting the A5 Pen and Portfolio as a gift.
I’m a welding inspector who works in the field a lot and I love my folio cover. I was tired of my yearly journals falling apart at the end of the year so I opted to buy a cover from Galen Leather and I am glad I did. It’s ruged with a heavy duty zipper and I love the pen/pencil holders inside. I’ve had my cover for a few months now and there is no sign of fatigue in ANY of the stitching or construction. I absolutely love it.
This is my third Opus 6 for my Nakayas and I am very happy for the purchase. Opus is lightweight and carefully designed and engineered, the inner cloth provides a spacious pocket and good protection to my urushi fountain pens. I have also purchased the leather wax this time and after applying on the leather looks gorgeous.
